Job Details
Sparks Group, in collaboration with a government contract company, is searching for a Programmer III. In this role, you'll be a key player on their A/V Unified Communications team. You'll leverage your programming expertise to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge control systems. You'll also be a customer champion, providing technical support and acting as a trusted advisor.
Responsibilities:
- Design, program, and build customized control systems for A/V applications
- Collaborate with the Director to establish and maintain control system standards
- Develop reusable program modules to streamline development
- Install, troubleshoot, and update control system software on-site
- Provide exceptional technical support to customers via phone and online channels
- Consult with customers to design user-friendly control system interfaces
- Stay ahead of the curve by researching new technologies and creating innovative solutions
- Work effectively within a team to meet deadlines and stay on budget
- Manage project schedules and ensure successful deployments
- Partner with installation personnel to bring engineered solutions to life
- Lend your technical expertise to sales presentations and customer meetings
- Continuously develop your skills to stay at the forefront of the A/V industry
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 1-2 years of experience OR 8-10 years of experience in lieu of a degree
- 5 years of experience with AMX/Crestron programming languages
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD
- Travel: Some travel to client locations may be required.
